Hi,
You probably just need to try a different burning engine setting. First, make sure you do have the latest (v4.01 build 115 as of this writing): You can download the latest MP3 CD Burner here.. If that doesn't fix the problem, please fill out a problem report. Be sure to send us a log file. Greg |

Hi,
You can download the additional Gear burning engine support here. Once that's installed, you'll find burning engine choices in the general preferences. Click on the File menu, select Preferences and then General. Another burning engine choice appears in the "CD/DVD Burner" preferences if you have Windows XP. It's called IMAPI and you can try burning with it on and off. Again, it will only be available if you have Windows XP. Note that if IMAPI is on, it will override the other burning engine choice. Hi,
Due to contractural obligations, we had to stop offering the Gear burning engine as an option. Try the new beta version, which has some fixes for IMAPI burning problems, along with a new "Goldenhawk override" feature that can allow you to use a generic Goldenhawk option for unsupported burners. "Beta" means it's still being tested. Greg |
