Backgrounds and Text Boxes

I downloaded a series of Photo Frames which I thought would come in useful for CD Covers into which I could place a title into the centre.

First I created my text in a Text Box, then went to the "Art Browse" tab. The thumbnails give you two choices; double-click to paste the image, or dragging it to have the option of resizing it.

If you double-click, the Background inserts itself onto the label, with the Text Box inside it. But, when you drag the Background, it covers...

Printing on CD gets cut off

My image gets cut off at the very top of the CD.

Here are the settings I used:

- Paper Type: Memorex side full face (which came with the Epson R200)
- Manual Feed
- Type: CD/DVD
- Source: Manual
- Size: A4
- Arrows are lined up on the tray...

I think a video demonstration would help me out better...

Any suggestions?

PRINTING DVD - CUT OFF

Please help me understand... printing DVD front labels on regular 8.5 x 11 photo paper... it always gets cut off at the one end..... I had it once and forget my settings..?

Is it printer settings I need to tweak or is it Acoustica Label settings... I am blowing alot of ink trying... over here

Background Options

I'm running the latest version - 2.48.

In the program's Help/Background info "Editing Background Images" it says:

"Selecting the Edit Background Image option from the Background menu will bring up a list of things you can do to your background image. Here's the lot":

90 degrees clockwise

small slimline cases

Does anybody know of a way of allowing the height of the slimline dvd cases to be set lower than 174mm ? I have some of these svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=298 and they are only 142mm high - can't find anything relevant in any of the .ini files or the registry to hack.

Graphics Disappear or Are BLACK

I downloaded this program and tried it. It worked so well I paid for the registration. Now, I can't get it to work properly.

Specifics:
Win98SE, Epson Stylus C84

I make a new project. Open the directory/folder where the graphics are located (.jpg files). I double click for each part (front, inside, back, CD, etc.). The graphics usually show up on the right side, but not always. Sometimes, instead of the actual graphic, there is just a black graphic. Sometimes, there is no...

wrapping text around the CD

I'm making cd for my band and I used to be able to wrap the text around the cd in a half circle and for some reason I cant figure out how to do it anymore..... any suggestions?.... thanks...

Does Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker support LightScribe technology? I don't see it mentioned anywhere.

Paper templates settings aren't retained.

Upgraded to the new version but the template that I used (Canon Pixma MP760 direct to CD) now has a hole diameter of 41mm instead of the correct 11mm (which it had in the previous version).

Any reason for this change? I've done the Edit Paper Templates and set it back, but whenever I come out of the programme and go back in, its defaulted back to 41. Is there no way to save this permanently?

Also, why is there no template for the MP750?

Hi All,

Just in the process of deciding which label software to buy, Nero 6 option rubbish, I like the layout of this software and ease of use, just a couple of questions to ask:

1. Is there any provision for adding logos such as the Dolby icon etc for that proffessional finish? I saw that Surething offers this
2. Can you make biz card's? I couldn't see the option available anywhere

mixed music files data dvd

Hi, I burned a dvd full of mixed music files for a friend, and tried to label it. Problem is there was no way to add the file list since Label Maker doesn't recognize data dvds. I said "read cd" to create a "track list" (a misnomer)and to its credit it did read the file names, but discarded all that weren't mp3. There were quite a few M4A files that it wouldn't list. I don't need ID3 info - just to list the file names would be great. I tried to import, but it's just...

printing front and back only

im trying to print "backs" for a cd case.

It doesnt matter which paper choice i select , the inlay is [b]always[/b] about 3mm too wide and 2mm to long.....

im am in the uk...and my printer is epson stylus photo 915

What Happened to R300 Direct to CD Full Face?

Just Installed the latest version of Label Maker. In prvious versions I was able to choose Epson Stylus Photo R300 in either Direct to cd (which produced a standard hub print) and direct to CD full face (thich printed pretty close to the hub). In the new version 2.47 the option for the R300///Full face is no longer available. Where did it go???

Getting 2 rows of text on label

I want to manually type out two rows of text on, say, the Front, Inside, or back of a label. For instance, a list of programs, or could be anything. But, as there's no way to use the Tab key, the right-hand rows don't appear in a straight vertical line.

On a normal CD, this is accomplished by importing the track list from the database, then, on the Back label, choosing
"Show tracks on this label" then selecting "2 columns".

But I cannot find a way of...
